Global CHRO Driving People Strategy, Workforce Scale, Revenue Growth, and Enterprise Transformation

Ethan Davis is Chief Human Resources Officer of MCI, where he leads global people strategy for a multinational business process outsourcing and customer experience organization with more than 10,000 employees across four countries. As CHRO, he oversees the company's human capital strategy, talent acquisition, workforce planning, organizational design, leadership development, employee engagement, HR operations, workforce analytics, and large-scale business transformation.
Davis brings more than 20 years of enterprise leadership experience to MCI, combining deep human resources expertise with a broad operating background across marketing, information technology, analytics, operations, and customer experience. He joined MCI in 2003 as the company's second employee and has played a central role in its growth from an emerging business into a global enterprise. His cross-functional experience gives him a commercially grounded approach to HR, with a focus on aligning people strategy to revenue growth, margin expansion, operational performance, and long-term enterprise value.
Since moving into progressive HR leadership in 2013, Davis has led the transformation of MCI's people function into a scalable global platform. His work has supported enterprise revenue growth of up to 114% per year, reduced long-term labor-to-revenue ratios, and contributed to sustainable double-digit gross margin improvement. He has advanced HR strategies that include new compensation models, gross margin management frameworks, remote workforce expansion, blended wage strategies, centralized support functions, and data-driven workforce intelligence.
During MCI's period of rapid growth, Davis built and scaled the HR infrastructure required to support a workforce expansion from 30 employees to more than 10,000. His leadership has included establishing global shared services, modernizing pay and recognition programs, developing enterprise employee engagement platforms, strengthening management capability, and expanding HR analytics across the organization.
Davis has also served as a key leader in enterprise transformation, including four company acquisitions. His work has included acquisition due diligence, workforce risk assessment, organizational alignment, integration planning, and post-acquisition value creation.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Davis led the strategy to transition MCI's global workforce to a virtual operating model, protecting business continuity while reducing operational risk. He has continued to help the company navigate changing labor markets by expanding access to new talent pools, modernizing workforce models, and building greater organizational flexibility.
Known for connecting people strategy to business performance, Davis brings a global, analytical, and operator-minded perspective to human resources leadership. His work continues to strengthen employee engagement, retention, inclusion, leadership effectiveness, and organizational resilience across markets, brands, and cultures.
